Introduction

Welcome, this course will be delivered with two very specific objectives.

For the first 7 weeks we will cover the methods to create and conduct presentations. I know, speaking to an audience can be very upsetting and cause you to be nervous, and just not want to do it. BUT like most things in live -- the more you do this the easier it becomes.

We only have two periods per week so we will have to get off to a fast start at each class....that's my way of telling you to SHOW UP ON TIME.

The 2nd part of the semester will cover the many uses of EXCEL. Excel is a very powerful application and is used in all businesses. In order to succeed in this portion of the course you will need to purchase the text book. This book is not a throw-away or something you should sell after the course is over. It is an excellent reference for you.

Bryna Cosgrove will be doing the last seven weeks. Bryna is an excellent teacher and is very knowledgeable and experienced in using EXCEL. I'm not,so that is why I'm doing the presentation portion of this course.
